Chartres Terracotta
This traditional pale red terracotta TO ORDER from France is a more affordable, consistent alternative to the reclaimed material. The tiles are made from the highest quality clay and are fired in modern kilns so do not have quite the depth of colour of reclaimed material, but are perfect for projects where regular thickness and colour are required. They can also be sealed with Antique Oil and Wax for more patina. Tiles are supplied 42 tiles per m2.
