Travertine tiles provide a hard wearing natural surface that combines much of the durability of a marble with the more mellow feel of a limestone.Travertine is often chosen as a more affordable alternative to either antiqued French Limestone or as a cost effective route towards an integrated interior with for example aged travertine flagstone tiles for the principal floor area and honed travertine tiles or mosaic used on the walls. Our travertine has been selected to offer a variety of tones and surface finishes as well as being suitable for domestic interiors including kitchens.We do not recommend th euse of very light travertines in high traffic areas.Customers should however be aware that in addition to the treatment and cleaning requirements of natural stone,travertine may also require periodic re-filling of any surface pitting.
